Master Terry Brumley -8th Degree Black Belt

Vice President of United Taekwon-Do Alliance

Was it a miracle and luck or could it just be perseverance and hard work? How does someone from the small town of Malvern, Arkansas go from getting beat up on the school bus as a teenager to becoming an 8th Degree Black Belt, Respected Master of Taekwondo, Vice President of the United Taekwondo Alliance, published author of Live Your Potential and a well-received motivational speaker. When it usually takes 2 – 3 years for someone to achieve a Black Belt, Master Brumley’s journey to Black Belt was anything but usual. While moving away from one school and three others closing on him, having to start over at White belt four times, he trained in several styles of Martial Arts, and received 8 years of training before finally reaching his Black Belt in Taekwondo. Spending two years in Taekwondo management after graduating from Henderson State University, he settled in Memphis opening Taekwondo University in 1985. Committed to teach Taekwondo at it’s best, Master Brumley became a student to search out the best recipe to develop the attributes of Taekwondo that are greatly respected, such as confidence, discipline, focus, honor, ambition and purpose. After 25 years of teaching and journaling his findings he made the commitment to compile his material and write a book. For two long years, he diligently wrote and rewrote until he finally completed and published his book, Live Your Potential, in 2010. He continues to teach Taekwondo at the Taekwondo University where the Live Your Potential program is taught in Memphis, TN. As the VP of the UTA, he handles the position of the chief financial officer. He also enthusiastically honors many speaking engagements and book signings of the Live Your Potential program.

———-

-LIVE YOUR POTENTIAL-

Live Your Potential is not just a book.  It’s a program—a program that will take you firmly by the shoulders and push you in a direction that will advance your life, with the help of a few accessible and easy-to-digest concepts and exercises.

During the program, you will discover and define your purpose. You will also gain the tools necessary to connect your goals to your purpose. By the end of the program, you will have the commitment and conviction to fulfill your purpose, thereby living your potential.

What greater payoff could there be?

Most everyone believes that we’re here on this earth for a purpose, but far too many people fall short when it comes to spelling out, internalizing, and living day-to-day according to that purpose—until they study the Live Your Potential program.  My challenge to you: Take the next step. Aren’t you curious to find out what your life can look like once it’s grown to its fullest potential?
